The Problem

Elizabeth Beckett is a friendly, local business that creates ethical and conscious skincare products based primarily on Rapeseed oil.

Elizabeth Beckett Skincare is more than just a skincare company. Liz is serious about dispelling many myths made by the skincare industry about needing a bathroom full of products in order to have great skin. You won’t find wild claims of ‘anti-aging’ or ‘miracle cures’ in the products, just honest advice on the correct products for your skin.

Liz is passionate about reducing the ‘miles’ it takes for you products to get to you, much in the same way we now understand buying food. Why should we import products from other continents when we have amazing products readily available in the UK?

As such we needed to work on an identity for the company that had all the integrity of a high-fashion skincare company, yet works within the honest and open morals of the company.

The Solution

We started with a branding workshop where we drilled into the core of who Elizabeth Beckett are, the morals of the company, and how Liz wanted a product that bore her own name to be perceived. 

Once we’d created and agreed on the look of the brand, we moved onto the packaging, where we could really show the new brand off to its potential. We worked with suppliers to help decide on the type and style of bottles so that the finished product would look great on the shelves.

Alongside this we also developed the new website that enhanced the user experience and displayed the quality of everything Elizabeth Beckett produces. We also put Liz and Alison in contact with a local product photographer to create high quality images that could be used throughout the website and any further marketing materials.

Colour and typography

The new idenity was design to be honest, elegant and understated. The simplistic typography allows the products to stand out on the shelves against a world of choice and clutter.
