The brief
Maxpack is a key player in industrial packaging solutions. With over 29 years’ experience the company was born with the vision of providing the retail industry with packaging consumables that innovate and protect. After an in-depth branding workshop with all the key stakeholders, we were able to start work on reinvigorating the brand and it's design language.
Our strategy
The existing brand was established but was no longer aligned with the company's updated vision. Our workshop helped to identify new target markets and an improved set of values.
As always we started our creative processes with a team kick-off meeting and after initial understanding and market research, turned our pencils to paper (we're traditional like that), once internally reviewed we then began to turn some of those original pencil sketches into digital creations.
We produced between 20 and 30 initial concepts, but these were quickly whittled down to our top 10, and after an internal round of refinements these were further culled to five. These five were developed to ensure they all answered the brief and would have the legs to grow into a fully fledged brand.
A further round of refinements left us with two crafted concepts to present, which the preferred version was then rolled out across a whole host of touch-points including stationery, the website, packaging, clothing, vehicles, and even internal decoration to demonstrate how the new design language would be applied to all areas.
The rebrand and repositioning was a great success and has helped Maxpack to grow and evolve their services and solutions.
