Meet The Team

Gavin set up Clear in 2002. He’s worked in technical development for over 25 years and is a Magento backend genius, with a Magento Solutions Specialist certification. As well as running the business, he’s completed the London marathon twice – despite a dislike of running!

Sherridan started at Clear in 2012 and heads up the business development, client strategy and marketing departments. She completed her MBA in 2018 and loves working closely with clients and developing strategies to help them succeed. She’s as brilliant in board rooms as she is on the slopes as a qualified snowboarding instructor.

James joined Clear in 2011 and is our Creative Director and UX specialist. In fact, he's so into UX that he went and got a Professional Diploma in UX Design from the UX Design Institute. With an obsessive eye for detail, James knows how to display key marketing messages to convert users into customers. He loves an active lifestyle and is often pedalling a bike or rock climbing.

Russell has been at Clear since 2016 and is our in-house SEO and PPC expert. When he’s not helping clients get better ROI from their Google Ads or writing carefully-crafted copy, he can be found teaching historical longsword fencing.

Peter has been at Clear since 2014. Having owned two successful marketing agencies, he’s helped grow many businesses in and beyond Shropshire – reaching as far as the Middle East! If he’s not in the office, he’s likely sailing the seven seas.

Ed joined the team back in 2022 and is passionate about building and nurturing strong and positive client relationships. He has a keen eye for value and even once appeared on an episode of Cash in the Attic.

Dougie is our resident customer experience expert. He’s helped a number of high-profile brands across the globe provide a more positive and profitable experience for users both on- and offline. When he’s not in the office, you can find him playing football for his local team.

Sandra started at Clear in 2015. As well as being a whizz with numbers, she makes sure we all get paid on time. When she’s not at work, she can be found whizzing around the Shropshire countryside on her electric bike.

Fran’s been at Clear since 2022 and she manages our studio team like a pro. She pulls the team together as flawlessly as she pulls off a perfect hem when sewing her own clothes.

Darren joined Clear in 2009. He’s our Magento backend mastermind and his technical problem solving skills are unmatched. He's even certified as a Magento Solutions Specialist. When Darrens’s not saving the day, he’s most likely playing golf with a swing almost as impressive as his technical talents.

Richard has been at Clear since 2019. He’s a digital marketing expert and enjoys nurturing long-lasting partnerships with clients. If he’s not optimising websites or running successful PPC campaigns, he’s more than likely raiding the office snack box!

Kev started at Clear in 2013 and has over 20 years experience in graphical communication and photography. Kev's also a keen musician, so when he’s not coming up with innovative designs, you’ll find him writing music or maybe flying a drone.

Tim started at Clear in 2010 and is our Magento front-end wizard. He's a certified Professional Front End Developer and creates user-friendly, high-performing sites with ease. He builds websites as impressively as he plays table football and is our reigning champion.

Chris joined the team in 2015. He has a background in design but is now taking his creative skills over to the world of web development. Passionate about nature, he takes care of 59 houseplants in his spare time.

John started at Clear in 2011 and is our talented WordPress wizard. When he’s not building thrilling websites, he can be found seeking thrills elsewhere either base jumping or snowboarding.

Kevin joined the team in 2023 and is a Tailwind CSS fan. He's also a certified Shopify developer, with two exams under his belt: Shopify Development Fundamentals and Liquid Storefronts for Theme Developers. Today he can be found developing stunning sites for our clients or jumping into action to solve technical issues. In his youth though, he played bass in a number of punk rock bands.

Gina can improve your SEO or PPC, but also knows a thing or two about UX and usability testing. If you need to streamline your user journeys she's more than happy to help. Gina's hair used to be over a metre long before she cut it in 2024 for charity.

Annabel has been at Clear since 2017. She loves working closely with clients, building personal and positive partnerships. She’s a team player even when she’s out of the office and plays netball for her local team.

Chris joined the team in 2024. With a head for strategy, he's great at creating plans for client success, no matter the goal. Specialising in ecommerce, he's also a Magento 2 Certified Professional Front End Developer. In his spare time, he volunteers as a presenter and producer for a local radio station.

Katie started at Clear in 2019. She’s a WordPress guru and is well-versed in successfully planning, executing and closing projects. Her coordination efforts are as impressive as her culinary skills. She loves cooking or relaxing with a good book.

Chloe is a digital marketing enthusiast. She’s passionate about creative copy, social media and email marketing - she's also Klaviyo certified. She loves to travel and spent a year living and studying in the US while at university.

Sean knows his way around PHP and has helped develop our WordPress base. Outside of work he’s a keen gamer and loves walking his dog, Chip.

Ellie’s been at Clear since 2023. She loves building positive relationships with clients and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. She studied Drama at university and has been performing in musicals since she was seven.

As well as working on client accounts Amber is in charge of our social media and marketing. She’ll still proud that at age 8 she got a Blue Peter badge for bike safety.

Sian started at Clear in 2024. She’s passionate about SEO, especially the technical stuff. When she’s not serving up impressive SEO results, she can be found in the kitchen trying out new cuisines.
