Twitter have just released a fresh new look to their profile pages, allowing you to show off your personality with an enlarged, cleaner style. These changes call for a fresh approach on how you post content to your feed, to make the most of the new features.
Profiles have been given an enlarged profile picture, which sits infront of a Facebook inspired cover/header image, which is a whooping 1500x500 pixels. Things have been improved in the back-end too, making it much easier to customise & post information.
Popular tweets now stand out by appearing larger than the rest, making key messages much harder to miss. The loved (or loathed) 140 character limit is here to stay for now, so the ability to include multiple images & tag up to 10 people in each is a great new tool. Pinned tweets are another great feature, making it simpler than ever for your followers to know what you’re up to. This is particularly useful for ongoing projects as it will always appear as the first tweet.
