Along with just about everyone else, we at Clear have moved from the office into our homes, but this hasn’t stopped our wheels from turning!
In the last few weeks, we’ve launched three ecommerce websites, one WordPress website, one Clear CMS website, helped a B2B food supplier transition to a B2C model, and developed recruitment strategies for our clients.
Fish4Dogs
You may think the title says it all but just to be clear, Fish4Dogs offer premium, fish-based food and treats for dogs AND cats. They came to us as their website was beginning to show its age and, as they achieved 75% of their UK sales through their website, it was time for a refresh!
Due to the large product base, Fish4Dogs was upgraded to Magento 2 so they could benefit from the quicker and easier processes. The navigation of the website was simplified, a calculating block added to notify customers of promotions, and price and product descriptions were made clearer and more accessible. The new site and integrations were completed in time for Crufts 2020.

Rowlands & Co
Rowlands and Co have been in the retail trade for over a hundred years and came to us in 2017 to build them a website.
Due to the recent pandemic, there have been fewer trade orders so Rowlands started to sell to the public. They advertised their vegetable boxes on social media for the general public and, thanks to word of mouth, demand grew. As such, they wanted us to extend the functionality of the existing website to allow B2C users to login, order and purchase these fresh vegetable boxes.
We can say from first-hand experience that their veggie boxes are delicious. Order yours here.
Berwick Care
Berwick Care are experts in all things care home, from refurbishment to support. They wanted a warm, friendly and highly functional website that made it easier for customers to shop their extensive product range.
Built on Magento 2, the website was given a fresh new look to clearly show off their ‘furniture by room’, ‘equipment’ and ‘care and hygiene’ categories. Colour was injected into the website to provide warmth and even made navigation easier.
The website launch came at just the right time as it enables Berwick Care to easily manage and control stock in these difficult times, especially from the ‘care and hygiene’ side of the business. The new website enables Berwick Care to deal with the increase in traffic and demand smoothly.
Adviser Home
Adviser home are business advisors that help develop and market clients’ businesses. Their team are experts that offer a broad range of services, including financial advice, wealth management, strategic insight and guidance, media support, corporate leadership, and marketing.
The website aims to house all their resources, development solutions, sustainable investments and CPD Centre. Visit their website and sign up for regular updates.
Cheswardine Hall
Located on the Staffordshire border, Cheswardine Hall is an independent care home that has been a family business since the early 1980s. Their aim is to ‘embrace family’ and ‘quality’ and they wanted a website to reflect these values.
The website was built on our own content management system. This offers easy maintenance and management for us and the client. The Clear CMS is highly intuitive and flexible, meaning it can evolve and develop to match clients’ needs.
The new website features simple navigation with large blocks to appeal to the target audience, with informative images of the accommodation as well as pages about activities, the team and food and drink – important considerations when choosing a care home.
What’s next?
So, it’s fair to say it’s been a busy few weeks and the distractions inherent with working from home haven’t slowed us down. Launching the websites above (and a few more) shows our team are settling into the working from home life.
And we can’t get too comfortable. We’ve recently won a competitive pitch for a medical website, two Magento 2 migration and support projects, a couple of website developments and several new SEO clients. For us, it’s business as normal.
