As you might have heard, Clear is 15 years’ old this year. We’re celebrating with 15 acts of kindness to give something back to the local community, we kicked things off by inviting three local charities; Signal, Shropshire Parent and Carer Council (PACC), and Stay – for a free 2-hour social media and SEO training session.
Kay Bennett, Fundraising and Marketing Executive at Stay, said “A big thank you to Clear for inviting us along to the Social Media and SEO Training. I picked up some great tips for improving Stay’s SEO and maximising the potential of our Facebook page.”
The event was a great success and the charities left with some new wisdom on how they can improve their Social Media strategy. Susan Barlow, Fundraising Manager at Signal, rushed off to verify her Facebook account immediately.
Sarah Thomas, Parent Carer participation Co-Ordinator, said “A big thank you the Team at Clear for sharing their social media and SEO expertise with us at a recent free training session. As a small local charity getting our message out there is really important, and the hints and tips provided during the session were easy to understand and implement. The knowledgeable team introduced us to the range of tools available to improve our management of social media, so that we can now maximise its effectiveness in promoting the work of our organisation and in addition to that they provided cakes! We really appreciate your support”
Keep an eye on our website, social media and blog to see more acts of kindness to come, including one hour consultations, website audits and four members of the team running the Shrewsbury half marathon in June.
