Project background

Techtron are a BRC-accredited contract formulator, manufacturer and packer of chemical liquids – everything from automotive degreasers to dog shampoo. If you need a liquid product developing, making or putting in a bottle, you can rely on their expertise.

Techtron were in need of a rebrand and a new website to give a modern look to their communications. Their previous brand and website were outdated and no longer fit with how they wanted to position themselves.
They also wanted their website to be more visible online, with a new digital marketing strategy that includes Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Google Ads management.

Our strategy

The website was built on our very own bespoke content management system, giving them the ability to add and amend content without the need to contact us. The website was also made responsive to ensure customers can access it via their mobile or tablet with ease.

We’ve also been working with Techtron on SEO, to get more traffic to the website from search engines. By improving content on the site and ensuring it has links from relevant, high-quality sources, we’ve managed to get onto page one of Google for over a third of the terms we’re targeting.

The new logo

The Techtron logo is designed to be modern, strong and confident. It's based on the strength of chemical bonds, and the hexagon graphic represents innovation, speed and production. The Techtron ’T’ incorporates positive, uplifting connotations, positioning Techtron at the top of their industry.

Google Ads

Techtron hadn’t used Google Ads before, but we identified this form of Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising as a good way to target highly specific and relevant keywords in their main areas of expertise.

Through clever use of call tracking technology, we’ve been able to precisely measure the impact of the ads so we know if they’re delivering positive ROI. And they are. In month one alone, they got a major new contract for ad spend of less than £100.

Since then, they’ve had 192 high quality enquiries from the campaign.

Clare Rowe, General Manager at Techtron, said: “Our PPC results have been outstanding from the start and we know that major sales successes are due to this activity.”
