Shropdoc is a not-for-profit organisation, dedicated to providing the best possible out-of-hours, urgent primary care services for patients care across Shropshire and Powys. They cooperate with GPs, providing a range of services, including the NHS 111 service and urgent care centres, helping to reduce the pressure on hospital admissions
The cornerstone of Shropdoc’s offering is that they work for patients, not for profit - their mission statement is: “To keep the patient at the heart of everything we do.”
The brief
There are 3 main problems affecting the healthcare industry at the minute: an ageing population, a lack of funding and a lack of resources and staff.
Shropdoc was struggling to attract the right candidates for existing vacancies and had just launched an exciting new role, which aimed to bridge the gap between doctors and other healthcare professionals. They needed our help to attract the right people and educate them about their offering.
Our strategy
The Be More campaign was conceived with the belief that working for Shropdoc could empower individuals to contribute more to their community and significantly impact people’s lives.
This endeavour was accomplished by spotlighting the personal stories of current staff members. These narratives not only highlighted their sense of empowerment but also conveyed their aspiration for a more balanced work-life dynamic, enabling them to embrace the #BeMore ethos. The use of captivating photography further enriched the storytelling, reinforcing the core messages.
This distinctive identity was seamlessly integrated across various platforms, including a dedicated website, email campaigns, and multichannel advertising. This comprehensive approach aimed to advertise available positions and position Shropdoc as a prominent employer offering exceptional benefits and growth prospects.
Since its launch, the campaign has yielded impressive results. Job applications have doubled, and administrative efficiencies have significantly improved due to the enhanced features of the new website.
The results
Return on Investment is key - we agreed and set KPIs. Every month we report and evaluate against our targets. Here are just a few we have achieved in our 3 months: 11,922 unique users, 19,985 total sessions, 1,037 downloads of job description, 392 clicks to apply online.
