Sea Dragon are a high quality frozen fish and seafood supplier who create high quality products for restaurants and pubs. They approached us to create them a new brand identity and packaging for the whitebait and blanchbait products.
Our strategy
The brand was important to get right first, the Sea Dragon name is strong and characterful and this needed to be represented visually in an equally clever way. We also wanted to make sure that we set a tone that clearly elevated the Sea Dragon brand above its competitors by demonstrating a forward thinking sophistication.
The packaging was developed to communicated a sense of where and how the product is caught, being wild-caught in crystal waters and sustainably fished by the local communities. We used deep water imagery with shafts of sun light pulling through it to show purity and a still, calm sea in perfect balance.
