Head of Performance Marketing

About the role

We’re an award winning digital agency and a Google Premier Partner, partnering with global brands and ambitious ecommerce retailers. As our Head of Performance Marketing, you’ll take ownership of the strategy, execution, and performance of our digital marketing campaigns.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you’ll lead a team of specialists, drive client growth, and ensure our agency remains at the forefront of performance marketing innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and execute the agency’s performance marketing strategy across PPC, Paid Social, Display, Affiliates, and emerging channels.
  • Own departmental planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
  • Develop and implement cross-channel strategies to maximize ROAS, AOV, and customer acquisition.
  • Ensure clients' marketing objectives align with business goals through tailored digital roadmaps and dashboards.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, AI-driven marketing, and the evolving digital landscape.

2. Team & Client Management

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of PPC, Paid Social, SEO and Performance Marketing Specialists.
  • Set clear KPIs, performance benchmarks, and growth plans for the team.
  • Work closely with senior leadership, clients, and internal stakeholders to drive marketing excellence.
  • Support new business pitches, presenting strategies and insights to prospective clients.

3. Hands-On Performance Marketing Expertise

  • Oversee multi-channel ad spend across Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok, Amazon, and programmatic platforms.
  • Guide account restructures, audience segmentation, and bidding strategies to drive efficiency.
  • Ensure conversion tracking, attribution models, and analytics are set up for actionable insights.
  • Support high-level campaign execution while empowering the team to manage day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience, with a strong background in PPC & Paid Media.
  • Experience across SEO, Paid Social, Amazon, Affiliate Marketing, and Email Marketing.
  • Proven track record of scaling ad accounts and improving ROI across multiple channels.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams in an agency or multi-brand ecommerce setting.
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing trends, conversion tracking, and attribution models.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Ads Editor, AdWords UI, Looker Studio (or similar), and PPC tools.
  • Relevant degree or professional certifications from Google, Meta, or Microsoft Ads.
  • Strong analytical mindset – able to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to present strategies to senior stakeholders.
  • Passion for Ecommerce, AI, PPC, SEO, and digital marketing trends.
