Account Manager

We’re looking for an organised, motivated and passionate Account Manager to join our growing team.

You’ll be responsible for managing new and on-going projects, with a focus on ecommerce projects. We work with large multi-national corporations, and also local SME's - no two days or projects are the same!

You’ll manage workloads, prioritising and delivering projects within agreed deadlines, along with providing clients with strategic support and ensuring that project objectives are met.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership and responsibility of your clients projects, ensuring they are completed on time, on brief and on budget
  • Develop strong and lasting relationships with your clients, keeping them happy, while managing expectations effectively
  • Understanding your clients businesses inside and out, becoming a trusted adviser to them
  • Leading client review meetings and encouraging account growth
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, enabling you to suggest new ideas to your clients for their website and marketing, keeping them ahead of the competition
  • Proposal writing and project planning
  • Briefing and managing projects across different departments to ensure successful delivery of objectives
  • Review and report against account profitability with ideas for improvement
  • Support the new business team in pitches, tenders and proposals

Experience & Salary

At least two years’ Digital Project / Account Manager experience, either agency or client side. In return for your talents you can expect a competitive salary, benefits and the opportunity to join a thriving agency.

Key Requirements

  • Experience of delivering digital projects, ideally with some ecommerce experience
  • Excellent project management and planning skills
  • High levels of organisation with an excellent eye for detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, prioritise and deliver calmly under pressure
  • Proactive and positive attitude
  • Track record of client relationship development
  • Ability to identify, analyse and resolve problems quickly and effectively
  • Thorough understanding of all aspects of marketing, especially digital
  • Good understanding of branding, design, web development and marketing processes
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Email marketing and social advertising
  • Able to demonstrate tact, diplomacy and discretion in relation to interacting with people at all levels

Now What?

If you feel your knowledge, passion and skills are perfect for this role, we’d love to hear from you. Please email Gavin at [email protected] with your C.V., salary expectations and a covering letter detailing why / how you can help us maintain and build our portfolio of clients.

Why Us

We’re one of the region’s best digital agencies and an Adobe Bronze Partner, so we’re always on the lookout for talented new people to join our team.

We’re successful because of our amazing team. We only hire passionate people, who love what they do. We listen to everyone’s ideas and suggestions, to build the strongest, happiest team we can. If you want to make something happen we’ll support you all the way (unless it’s something like mobile cat grooming – then you’re on your own).

Here at Clear, we believe in retaining our colleagues through regular reviews and up to date training to ensure you're on track, and enjoying your role. We have colleagues who have moved departments or even had roles created for them to truly utilise their potential. We also have Developers & Account Managers studying for Magento 2 specialist certification to ensure we're at the forefront of our craft... all paid for and provided by the company.

We believe that work should be enjoyable, sure there’ll be tricky days, and a few tight deadlines here and there, but overall it should be fun. To make things easier we have great benefits like a relatively flexible work day, fully stocked snack cupboard, comfy beanbags and afternoons out doing weird and wonderful things like hovercrafting and bowling.
