Based in the UK, Northwood is the market-leading partner of choice for away-from-home professional paper hygiene products.
We were drafted in to re-imagine their Whisper range of luxury hotel toilet and facial tissues.
Our strategy
We deconstructed the Whisper range into its core elements, a brand mark, a colour pallet and a design signature or art direction. These components needed to be strong individually yet work harmoniously together to deliver a seamless experience.
Through extensive research and iterations, we introduced a mascot into the mix. Eventually, we settled on the two swans, symbolizing purity, lightness, and elegance to appeal to the higher-end market.
The results
The completed art direction presents an array of elements that seamlessly blend to establish a distinctive brand identity. Central to this collection is the swan mascot, embodying elegance, depth, and resilience, symbolizing the brand’s core values. The logo, crafted with a signature style, injects a personal touch that resonates warmth and amiability. Accompanying these are a series of supporting graphics and a conceptual design for the packaging, all converging to forge a user experience that is both luxurious and inviting, reflecting a brand that is approachable yet refined.
