Hayley Dexis: Rolling Out a Major Rebrand Across Digital & Print

Overview

Hayley Dexis is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of engineering components and consumables, with over 50 branches nationwide.

In 2023, the company undertook a major rebrand as part of joining the Dexis network, a transformation that touched every element of the business, from warehouses and uniforms to packaging, vans, and brochures.

We were chosen as Hayley’s digital partner to bring this rebrand to life online and across marketing channels.

Our role was to deliver a flexible WordPress platform, extend the new identity into digital and print assets, and ensure brand consistency at every touchpoint.

How We Helped:

  • WordPress Website Development (Group, Hayley 24/7, Lamond & Murray)
  • Custom Block Editor (ACF) for long-term content management flexibility
  • Motion Design: Rebrand animations, logo transformation, social creatives
  • Marketing Collateral: Brochures, magazine, email templates
  • UX Design for homepage, product pages, and branch finder
  • Branded operational templates
  • Ongoing website support
  • Further website builds in build for other Hayley Dexis divisions

The Results:

  • Consistent brand identity rolled out across digital, print, and social media.
  • Streamlined content management through custom WordPress CMS, reducing team frustration.
  • Improved user journeys with simplified navigation and branch finder.
  • Stronger engagement through motion design and social media templates.
  • Future-ready platforms with scalable websites and ongoing support for new divisions.
The Brief

The Brief

Hayley Dexis’ existing websites had become outdated and difficult to manage. Built on WordPress with Elementor, the CMS caused frustrations for the internal team and limited their ability to maintain consistency across multiple brands. At the same time, the company’s rebrand created an urgent need to align digital, print, and motion assets with the new identity.

Key Challenges

  • Fragmented website experience across group companies
  • Elementor CMS difficult to use and manage
  • Lack of brand consistency across digital and print channels
  • Need for engaging motion design to announce and embed the rebrand

Objective

To deliver a suite of modern WordPress websites and digital assets that reflected Hayley Group’s new identity, simplified content management, and reinforced the brand across every customer and stakeholder touchpoint.

The Approach

The Approach

Hayley Dexis needed websites that reflected their new identity while being easier for internal teams to manage. We developed custom WordPress builds using Advanced Custom Fields (ACFs) to replace Elementor.

  • Delivered websites for Hayley Dexis, Hayley 24/7, and Lamond & Murray.
Built a tailored CMS with reusable ACF blocks, giving long-term flexibility.
  • Designed a homepage capable of presenting over 50 UK branches clearly.
  • Enhanced key product and vision pages to support marketing objectives.

The new websites gave Hayley Dexis complete control over content while ensuring a professional, brand-consistent experience for users.

Motion Design & Social Assets

To communicate the rebrand, we created dynamic digital assets that animated the transition from the old identity to the new Dexis brand.

  • Produced showreels and animated logo transformations.
  • Designed social media templates and teaser videos for launch.
  • Developed branded email templates for internal and external comms.

This motion-led approach gave the rebrand energy and helped staff and customers embrace the change.

Marketing Collateral

Clear extended the rebrand across a full suite of marketing materials, ensuring consistency between print and digital.

  • Designed brochures, magazines, and product literature aligned with new guidelines.
  • Created branded templates for presentations, spreadsheets, and downloads.
  • Supported day-to-day usability with tools that could be managed in-house.

By embedding the brand into operational collateral, we ensured the identity was lived across the organisation, not just seen.

UX Design Enhancements

Improving usability was a priority, particularly on the group homepage and branch finder.

  • Designed clear navigation and call-to-actions to guide users to products, services, and local branches.
  • Optimised layouts for speed, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Built trust with consistent use of brand elements, accreditations, and testimonials.
