A Complete Rebrand and Future-Ready Digital Presence

Overview

Adullam is a specialist provider of quality housing and support services across England and Wales.

Established in 1972, they work with local authorities and public sector partners to house and support more than 1,000 people at any one time.

With a 50-year legacy of care, Adullam’s mission has always been to provide secure housing and compassionate support. However, their brand and digital presence no longer reflected their values, scale, or future ambitions.

How We Helped:

  • Brand identity refresh and 50th anniversary lock-up
  • Logo redesign and updated strapline
  • Brand guidelines and collateral
  • Full website redesign and development in WordPress
  • Accessibility and translation tools
  • Hosting, security and ongoing support

The Results:

  • A modernised brand identity rooted in Adullam’s heritage
  • A secure, mobile-first WordPress website
  • Improved user journeys for tenants, partners and job applicants
  • Accessibility and inclusivity at the core of the design
  • A long-term digital foundation for growth
The Brief

The Brief

Adullam’s established brand was well-recognised, but had become outdated. They needed a full rebrand to modernise their identity while retaining the essence of their history and reputation. At the same time, their website required a complete overhaul to:

Key Challenges

  • Refresh the brand identity without losing brand recognition
  • Mark the organisation’s 50th anniversary with a future-facing design
  • Improve tenant access to housing, repairs, and support information
  • Streamline the recruitment journey while integrating with Cascade HR
  • Build an inclusive, accessible website with translation options
  • Ensure ongoing hosting, security, and compliance

Objective

To deliver a rebrand and website that reflects Adullam’s heritage, strengthens trust, and positions them for continued growth in housing and support services.

The Approach

The Approach

Brand Identity & Guidelines

We began with an extended branding discovery workshop, engaging staff and trustees from across Adullam’s services and locations. These sessions uncovered the organisation’s values, the significance of change, and the need to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

  • Simplifying the existing logo while retaining recognisable elements
Creating a strapline to clarify Adullam’s unique offering
  • Developing a brand system that conveys security and warmth
  • Producing guidelines, typography, and colour palettes
  • Designing collateral and merchandise

The result was a brand identity symbolising both the stability of a home and the comfort of a caring embrace.

Website Design & Development

Adullam’s website needed to serve multiple audiences, tenants, staff, partners, and potential recruits  each with very different needs. We redesigned and built the site in WordPress with advanced custom fields, making it simple for their team to update.

  • Revising the sitemap to improve navigation and user journeys
  • Designing 11 flexible templates tailored to tenant, support, and recruitment needs
  • Integrating accessibility and translation tools for inclusivity
  • Enhancing the job application journey in collaboration with Cascade HR
  • Embedding SEO best practices, redirects, and analytics

We also provided hosting, ongoing security, and training to ensure Adullam’s team could manage the site with confidence.
