Creative Director

With over 16 years of agency experience, James Gough has worked across nearly every sector, combining creative flair with deep UX expertise to craft accessible, user-first digital experiences. He holds a BA (Hons) in Design for Digital Media and a Professional Diploma in UX Design, along with additional certification from Google in user experience foundations.

James specialises in e-commerce design, UX, and accessibility, offering a human-centered approach that informs every decision he makes from wireframes to strategic advice. At Clear, he spends his days designing, advising, and solving problems, helping clients deliver intuitive, inclusive experiences that just work.

Outside of work, James is an ultra-marathon runner and is an active community advocate. He proudly serves as chair member of the Synovial Sarcoma Fund and is an ambassador for Shrewsbury’s ‘5k Your Way’ initiative, supporting and inspiring those impacted by cancer.
