Design Lead
Kevin Llewellyn is a designer with over 20 years of experience across agencies, freelance work, and in-house roles, including as art director for a major hair and beauty retailer. He studied design through A-Level, Art Foundation, and holds a BA (Hons) in Graphical Communication. His career spans everything from website design and branding to photography, animation, and marketing for clients ranging from independents to multinationals like The Drifters and House of Fraser. His photography has also been featured by the BBC and Bloomberg.
Art direction and visual communication are at the heart of Kevin’s approach. Whether he’s designing a user interface, guiding a brand’s identity, or shaping a photo shoot, he focuses on communicating clearly and creatively—always with the end user in mind. For Kevin, good design is empathetic and purposeful, not just technically precise.
At Clear, he’s helped develop a formalised photography offering and is currently exploring how AI tools can support clients in creating cost-effective, high-impact visuals when traditional production might not be feasible.
Outside of Clear, Kevin runs a stock photography business and works on various creative side projects, including music composition, education, animation, and ecommerce.
