The specially designed logo and brochure will be showcased to help Shrewsbury on its way to blooming glory as the Britain in Bloom competition gets underway, with the winner to be announced in October 2013.
The logo was designed to present Shrewsbury as a distinctive town with plenty of green space and character, which is supported by a 32 page brochure detailing Shrewsbury’s horticultural achievements across the past 12 months. The Shrewsbury in Bloom identity was created to be taken forward alongside Shrewsbury’s Incredible Edible initiative.
Britain in Bloom works to improve people’s enjoyment of our country through community gardening, and is one of the largest voluntary campaigns in Europe. Shrewsbury is a town of quirks, but if you wander the streets today you will see the fruits of our lovely, local volunteer’s labour as there is one main consistency: Flowers everywhere.
